A
Letter From Travis
"When I was
about five years old I started performing, dancing and singing. My
sister and I danced, as partners, at shows and school activities.
Singing and entertaining were the most memorable moments of my
childhood. All through high school I was very interested in sports.
Especially rodeo. However, my first love has always been- and always
will be- singing and performing. I remember sitting in my bedroom
recording myself singing hour after hour, trying to improve my sound,
night after night.
When I turned
nineteen I started going to clubs. I would sneak in so I could get up
and share the stage with my favorite bands. I did this as often as
possible over the course of the next two years. During this time I
became friends with just about all the bands around. This relationship
with the different band members helped me to form my own group and soon
I was on the road myself.
My dream was
finally a reality. It's an indescribable feeling--being up in front of
hundreds or thousands of people doing something I had only dreamed about
as a child. I am currently traveling with my band as we perform all over
the country and I'm enjoying every minute of it!
Most recently I
have been in the recording studio recording some of my original songs. I
wake up every morning and thank the keeper of the stars for the gift he
has given me, allowing me to give to others and spread the magic of
country music."
"My
biggest fear in life is having regrets. Saying you should have taken
that chance. My life motto
is, “Always shoot for the
moon, ´cause even if you miss, chances are you might land on a star”.
God says if you do your part, he will do his.
And I’m sure that God also said “Keep it Cool, Travis…Keep
it Country” .
